We are currently redrafting our privacy policy. However, below are the main ideas that we will be keeping inline with.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When people access this website or use any of the services on it small amounts of data will be collected that may identify you later. We do not collect this data to sell. We also do not collect this data to share with a third party unless it relates to one of our services (eg skeda for room booking or the tool library booking). If we are requested by law to provide information about users and the use of the website do everything in our power to ensure that we are giving over only that information that is necessary.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection and moderate the site for hateful behaviour.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
